About the project

This project examines how vulnerable groups, including low-income households, are affected by policies and instruments for the transition. The project seeks to invite representatives of groups in Norway that we often do not reach through traditional research channels to engage in dialogue related to Include’s findings on the social impacts of the transition. This will also be a topic at Include’s final conference in spring 2027.

Background

Include aims to produce critical knowledge and provide recommendations on how we can achieve a just energy, climate and environmental transition. An important premise for our research is that justice should guide the transition. This means that the benefits and burdens of the transition must be distributed fairly across soicial groups and geographical areas, and that all voices must be heard and meaningfully included in transition processes.

Collaboration and participants

All of Include’s research units, interested partners and selected external organizations are invited to collaborate in this project.
